The SMARTHEP network gathered for a final time at Technical University Dortmund in Germany for our 2025 Yearly Meeting during the week of September 15th. It was an opportunity for our Early Stage Researchers to highlight the results of their PhD projects and outline their next steps post-SMARTHEP. It was also an opportunity to finalise our Outreach programme, including the conclusion of our HEP Escape Room.
We were delighted to be joined by the Chair of our External Advisory Board: Mike Sokoloff (University of Cincinnati) as well as representatives from our industry partners, Ximantis, Point8 and Verizon Connect. We were also joined by Prof Benedikt Maier (Imperial College London) to discuss his work on the EPIGRAHY Programme.
